‘Agency in a box’ course
2.6/5
There’s a real, useful playbook buried in here — but it’s wrapped in upsells and survivorship-bias marketing, and it’s priced for the seller’s margin, not your outcome. Most of its value is available for free.
Pros
- The core client-acquisition module is genuinely solid
- Community is active and occasionally useful
- Some templates save real setup time
Cons
- Aggressive upsells to a $5k ‘mastermind’
- Income claims lean on a handful of outliers
- Core ideas are freely available elsewhere
- No refund after you open the modules
Who it’s for: Almost no one at this price. Read our free freelancing and business guides first.
We paid full price, completed every module, and sat in the community for a month before writing a word.
Let’s be fair first: the client-acquisition section is good. The outreach scripts work, and the framing of a service business as a system is sound — it’s most of what we teach for free. If that were the whole product at a tenth of the price, this would be a recommendation.
Why the score is low
It isn’t the whole product, and it isn’t a tenth of the price. The funnel pushes a $5,000 ‘mastermind’ hard, the marketing leans on a few outlier success stories as if they were typical, and there’s no refund once you’re in. The ratio of value to price — and to pressure — is what sinks it.
A good idea sold with bad-faith marketing is still a thing to be careful with.
