All-in-one freelance suite

4.2/5

A genuinely good fit for solo freelancers who hate admin and want one tool instead of five. Power users juggling many clients will hit its ceiling.

Pros
  • Contracts, invoices, and proposals in one flow
  • Templates that are actually usable out of the box
  • Tax and expense tracking that saves real time
Cons
  • Gets pricey once you add team seats
  • Reporting is shallow for multi-client books
  • No true double-entry accounting

Who it’s for: Solo freelancers and consultants who want to stop stitching together five tools.

We set up a fake-but-realistic freelance business and ran a full client cycle through it — proposal to paid invoice.

The pitch for an all-in-one freelance suite is simple: stop paying for a contract tool, an invoicing tool, a proposal tool, a time tracker, and a spreadsheet, and do all of it in one place. For a solo operator, that pitch mostly holds up.

What worked

Sending a proposal that converted into a signed contract and a deposit invoice took under ten minutes, with no copy-paste between tools. The templates are the quiet hero here — they are good enough to use as-is, which is rare.

Where it strained

The moment we simulated a dozen active clients, the reporting fell short. If you need to know your real margin per client or per service line, you will still be exporting to a spreadsheet. And the per-seat pricing makes it a poor fit the moment you hire.
